or u can use the $10 tape deck thing that has the ipod wire hanging off.

works fine for me. and I saved $130.

but its a lil ghetto and doesnt charge it.

Well if you have a bose you dont need to use the tape deck ghetto thing... I think they have a writeup on how to make a AUX line in for a bose. Its somewhere in the DIY section

the older ones do, but the newer ones dont. im pretty sure it was 06 when they changed it because thats when all the styling changes were done, but theres a chance that it was 05

I'd stay with the USA spec. Also note that you need a different cable for the iPhone 3G.
