its a dumb Q, but i just want to be sure...?
is it possible to replace the rear factory bose speakers with aftermarkets without having to rewire my Pioneer HU???
I just want to be sure before taking stuff apart...thanks!

I did the same mod replacing my rear speakers with better souding speakers and couldnt really hear a difference. I would spend that money on something else but if thats what you want, enjoy.
dang, really, theres not much of a difference?...that blows!...what kind of speakers did u get??
Of course spending more $$’s for better front components is a better choice (there's an argument to forget about replacing the rears, and instead just disconnecting these). But replacing the rears with better speakers isn’t foolish, especially if you are not installing a subW.

I replaced my stock rears with some moderately priced Infinity coaxials, and the difference was huge (much better sound).
