I just got my 350z about 2 months ago. I'm not very car-savvy...at all. I was wondering if it's possible to replace the passenger storage behind the seat with another speaker. If so, where can I get it done? I would want a stock Bose speaker just like the one behind the driver's seat. Thanks for your help!

Okay, I'm not sure I want to mess with any of the wiring... Thanks for your help. And sorry about posting in the wrong section. I just joined about thirty minutes ago and haven't found my way around the site yet.

www.courtesyparts.com has a parts fish where you can order another drivers side panel and install it on the passenger side.
or you can try your local junk yard and probably snag all the parts you need (plastic, speaker, amp, etc) for dirt cheap in comparison..

Thanks so much for your help! I haven't measured the two places behind the seats--do you know if they are the same size? Like, if I took the storage compartment out, would the speaker and surrounding attachment fit right in?
Yes. In the RHD version of the car, the speaker is on the opposite side (so it stays behind the driver). If you buy the right parts (I would bet all you need is the sub baffle and the grill/trim piece...well and the subwoofer/amp), it will bolt right in (and will cover with the same style grill). The wiring on the other hand may be a chore...
if you wanna trade, I have a bose sub, amp, speaker grill, and the metal housing that you could use for your other side. I am just the opposite and want another door on the other side. I mounted my amps in there. I just need the door and the hinge
I live in Anderson SC, I have a bose sub and a sub amp for sale if ur intrested for 100 for both. email at ratm@me.com

Thanks so much for everyone's help! I'm currently still deciding if it's worth all the rewiring, or if I'll just keep it stock. I'll definitely get back to yall if I decide to make a trade or buy one from you. Thanks again.
Maybe I can help you with your decision:
Don't do it. There is a reason why I removed my stock Bose sub, put it in a vise, cranked until I heard a cracking sound then lit it on fire with a propane torch. I would have taken a picture but my overall contempt with the damn thing caused me to go into a blind fit of rage and do the above-said actions.
As for an alternative? Single 10" sub under the strut tower bar in the back (in a pre-fab zenclosure at the least) powered by a decent amplifier with a hi-low level converter or better yet, a new deck that doesn't blow donkey chode.
