Default BOSE NOT PLAYING RIPPED CDs

My Bose stereo plays " bought" CDs without any problems but if I try to play ripped/burnt CDs, they break up intermittently. To confuse things further, it only happens when the engine is running. The ripped CDs appear to behave themselves when I am parked? Any one have any ideas??

Are you burning them as Data CD's/MP3 CD's or Audio CD's? Region sometimes matter too on the computer system.

You are likely burning them incorrectly:

Either as CD/RW (with them still open for adding/removing files) or simply not finalizing them and only adding data. You need to burn them through a CD burning program that will encode the mp3's and allow you to play on any CD player. If you have nothing installed you can even use Windows Media Player.

Good luck!

It sounds as though you are being defeated by encoded Copy Protection.

There is nothing wrong with your Bose CD player. In fact your Z’s Bose CD player is doing what it should by not playing burned CD’s created in the incorrect region.

That is strange... Not sure the correlation here other than buy an aftermarket dual din radio. You can buy them pretty cheap these days.
