Okay so i got my power wire running from my fuse box, the wire is in the place with the (cigarette lighter) fuse. Now i got my ground running on the left side of the steering wheel column and taped with the led light. And i have the other led light hook to the switch i have.
Now about the switch i have, There's three label that are on it.
15A-12V-DC i don't have a clue what wires goes where, but the 12V i know.
but the other two idk.
So do yall have any suggestions or anything? wanna get it hooked up before XDC that there having here in Texas.
Thanks in advances.

The label on the switch means it has a current max of 15A, is rated for 12 volts of DC. Those are not pin labels!

How many pins are on the switch? Is there a diagram of the switch on the package the switch came in? does the switch have a light in it?

What happens if you take the switch out and just connect the two wires going to the switch together?

I have three pin, nope there's no diagram for it, I found it laying around my garage. Yes the switch has a light inside of it.
I've never really tired it. Basically I had three wires going to the switch, I had the power wire, ground wire w/ led and the other one on the switch. Is there something messing that I'm forgetting? Bc I did it that way, the switch turned on and my leds didn't.

I would bypass the switch next and see if the LEDs come on that way.

Where is your ground connected to the vehicle at? Did you connect the ground pin of the switch to the same spot that you connected the ground on the LEDs?

It's not necessary to, I was just confused by how you said you had it wired up above. It kind of sounded like you wired the ground of the LED to the ground pin of the switch. Just wanted to make sure that wasn't what you did.

Can you provide a photo of the switch (front and back) so we can see what you're working with? Also, where you tapped into the fuse box, are you sure that your power (red) wire was tapped in to the positive side of the fuse? If you use a digital multimeter, does it read 12V instead of -12V on the positive wire?

Both sides of the fuse are hot. It is important to find the load side of the fuse or to add your own fuse to protect the wire you are adding. The easiest way to find the load side is to pull the fuse out and measure voltage at each empty prong. The prong that still has 12vdc is the line side, the other prong that has no voltage on it is the load side.
