When I turn off my rears it sounds like complete ***. I have components up front and coax behind my head. Sounds perfect.
sounds fine to me i have stock rears faded all the way out but i have some really nice componets recomended my jl audio for the z
love my set up its perfect
-kenwood dnx 5160 head unit
-jl audio c5 6.5
-2 alpine type r 10" 4ohm dvc
and 0 gauge wire of course my amps are just a cheap mono block and 2 channel matched perfect to my set up it slams and has good range all around
My stock rears were disconected by the previous owner and after i installed the new rear speakers i have to say that i love the sound much better. I do have them faded a bit though.

Some people posting to your thread do not realize that coaxial speakers are often an excellent solution providing very good sound. I’m sure you have very good output from these speakers.

Well said . He said he just wanted to upgrade the oem speakers , and coaxials are a perfect solution . I also prefer some rearfill , it's a to each his own type of thing . But I would never tell someone you do or don't need it . Again whatever sounds good to you matters the most .
