Im not planning on running an amp so I decided to go with the coaxial. I just wanted something that sounds better than the factory speakers.

When I turn off my rears it sounds like complete ***. I have components up front and coax behind my head. Sounds perfect.

G.I Joe, your installation looks great! Thanks for posting the pictures.

Some people posting to your thread do not realize that coaxial speakers are often an excellent solution providing very good sound. I’m sure you have very good output from these speakers.

Well said . He said he just wanted to upgrade the oem speakers , and coaxials are a perfect solution . I also prefer some rearfill , it's a to each his own type of thing . But I would never tell someone you do or don't need it . Again whatever sounds good to you matters the most .

Thanks for the input guys. I really do love the sound that these speakers put out. Especially now that i installed my new pioneer head unit.
