Definitely hide the computer, it looks really tacky there.

Many people have placed their carputer in the compartment behind the passenger seat.

If you use that space and need it and don't have the Bose sub, then you can purchase the door and such for that compartment and install it behind the driver's seat.

I have thought about hiding it. I'm tinting the windows 5% back there so it should be much harder to see it after that.

Plan on buying a sub to fill up the bose sub location.

You don’t want to hide your CarPC by tinting the windows. That would be stupid and ineffective. However, you do not want any of the car’s PC components to be visible.

^^ The best way to hide you CarPC is placing the computer components inside the large and small cubby slots behind the driver and passenger seats. The 350z has 4 cubby-slots that make the car very receptive to a CarPC.

You guys must all live in terrible areas, or have had bad experiences. The issue with a cubby will be heat build up. So i would not be able to seal it off. Plus I would have to find places to mount the two amps and DSP. I would run out of mount area.

I think it will be fine where it is. If any of you do a PC build then you can hide it where you want and face those challenges.

Default Reminds me of a lost posting

Reminded me of when my 20 year old Z was about a year old. My version allows for changing different computers since 19 years have lapsed from initial build.

The Zenarc touch screen is 8 inches but at that year it was not the usual deal. Zs and other cars didnt have android car or apple which tepoaces the need of a carputer. A
Most cars have rear view when you place a car in reverse. I had tapped into the wire that sources the electric for the backup lights to turn on the DIY security cam I fitted so the touch screen gave me a rearview cam solution.
I probably can think of other things but senior moments is the blame.l33tzor dot com is still up or ig isnt used much and this firum should notify me if somebody has a question id live to offer some expertise on yhe matter as I had a small z and g forum with over 22000 posts but i quit the club stuff because of immature members and drama.
