A few months ago I purchased a 2003 350z touring. The stereo has not worked in it since I bought it. The head unit turns on but no sound comes from any speakers. The guy that sold it to me said it was a problem with the sub amp.
Well now I've tried to fix the amp twice and still not luck. I've gotten new relays for it and had it professionally soldered in and nothing still.
Does anybody know if anything else could be the culprit or do I just need a new amp? I'm completely lost now and am on the verge of scrapping the entire system for aftermarket. But I don't care if it sounds great I just want music while I drive.
Please help, thanks.

Reason: typo
@DarkCreep: I think you may be right because I don't understand how a malfunctioning amp could cause all the other speakers to not work either. So I guess I will order a new Head Unit today and go from there.
Does anyone know how to test the old head unit to see if it can produce sound?
I almost threw away the stock amp yesterday cleaning out my closet. $5 plus shipping and it's yours(the one the mounts in the trunk under the carpet on the left side)
