First off, sorry for hte bad pics, my lack of skills and crappy camera leaves me no choice. I am sure plenty of other pics will follow soon! ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway, i recently had the chance to work on member drsifu's beautiful Lambo yellow G35 Coupe. It has become my official show car so to speak.
The goal for this car is something i have long dreamed of doing -- an install that can get respect on the show circuit, yet still keep to my principle of simplicity, elegant, and classy.
i was unrestricted by the need to preserve trunk space, so the only goal is that it looks nice and sounds good![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
so lets get started with the pics!
the enter stack allt he way through the car has been painted two tone black and yellow. I molded the double din finisher so the eclipse nav unit can sit pretty flush...again, sorry for the bad pics:

DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3 3 way components makes up the front stage. The midbass is sealed in a fiberglass cup in the door, and the midrange and tweeter are flushed into the factory kicks:

the DLS subbass controller is hidden away in the center console:

moving on to the trunk. Starting off with a floating amp rack idea suggested by the customer, this is where we ended up![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
two metal plates were welded to the stillden strut brace, andt hen the amp rack bolted to it. The crossovers curves out of hte floor, holding two xovers each side. the image dynamics idmax sub sits in a recessed curved well int he middle, and the massive DLS A7 5 channel amp floats above. the install features all black wiring, passed through neatly, parts painted to match the exterior, and black vinyl floor.
here are the pics from all the angles:

there are a bank of LEDS sunk into the back panel to project light forwards to cast a yellow glow on everything...but i will wait for night time to take and post those pics![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
so far it sounds great even wtih out tuning, and in my mind, my goals are completely achieved![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
here are two behind the scenes pics showing some of hte work not seen, first a fully dampened door with the fiberglass door pod holding the iridium midbass, and secondly, all the wires behind the amp are wire tied and secured down tot he floor:

bing deserves all the positive comments he is getting.
i can't tell you how excited I am with the install. the audio has basically helped complete the car.
night pics looks pretty ominous![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
i feel like a kid all over again
