Nice Video - I will be at the VIR full coarse next weekend.

Why does everyone think that painters tape does anything to stop a rock? If you want to stop a rock from taking the paint out you have to use helicopter tape! And the nice thing about the H tape - is it removes cleanly.

yeah that tape didn't do a whole lot i don't believe. i did find a ton of pebbles stuck to it and did only end up with one chip on the pass side, however. I won't be back out there until Feb for a HPDE on Full Course, needless to say I will have some 9mil tape by then. Prolly ordering a case of it. That tape in the vid is all i could get my hands on....regardless... i still believe it was better then nothing.

tape....supposed to keep rocks from chipping the paint/busting a headlight. with some thick tape, it really does work. and if you ever priced compared a Z headlamp assembly to a roll of thick tape, its worth its weight in gold.

we went a little extreme with the amount of tape but i am pretty **** about my car....which makes no sense why i took it to the track. oh well.

Cool vid Bill

I've never know VIR to be that bad as far as debris... compared to most of the other tracks here in the southeast, its damn clean... Trick is not to ride someone's ***

Remember... you're not racing out there. Yeah, you need to be 'close' if you want to pass at the next zone... but there's no need to bump draft anyone

You'll like it better when you go to CMP or Roebling where there's sand in the paddock . Then again, there's also grassy areas at those tracks in the paddock.
