Default Will 17's fit over brembos?

I've got a 2003 Track edition. Ignoring all of the reasons I would not want to do such a thing, will 17" OEM wheels fit? I'm thinking for autocross purposes that 17" tires would be cheaper than 18's, even though my volks are way lighter than these 17's. However, I'm concerned about fitment issues, especially considering the size of the Brembo calipers. Thanks.

Just buy a set of 17x9's and run 275/40-17 on them. Yes factory 17's fit over Oem Brembo's.

The downside to running 17s is that you can't run in stock class, since you have to use the size wheels that came with your model.

Most competitors in most regions probably won't care too much (unless you start beating them).

Yes, 18" tires definitely are more expensive than 17" tires, but if I wasn't running a more "national" schedule, I could probably survive on a decent set of DOT-R tires for a couple of seasons at a time.

Thanks. I would not have expected it to be a common question, and apparently I'm incapable of searching properly.

Yes some of them did -- but no track models came with 17" wheels.

And no Enthusiasts came with 18" wheels.

Only in SP can you mix and match between models and years, as long as they are on the same line.

The SG/formerly Unitec 350z ran 17's on the Grand Am car, with Stoptechs. All depends on the items being used.
