At 27lbs per wheel, they are a terrible track option. It doesn't really matter what they cost - the stockers are the same weight.
Hey guys how does having a set up like 17x9.5 +18 front, and 18x9.5 +15 rear (enkei rpf1) sound? Anyone have any input on this as far as response and tire size? Also, with this set, would a 255 all around be ideal? Thanks
I was going to run that with 275/40 front and rear, but the fronts would not fit over my brakes. I did run 275/40-17 frond and 275/40-18 rear with different wheels. I liked that combo.
Well, they fit the rules for wheel sizes, they're light and strong, and aren't too expensive.
I've been lucky enough to find additional OEM V.1 track model wheels for my tires but I've looked around and RPF1s are a very good alternative.

Me too. I ordered my UY track model Z, and have found only one other confirmed track model (his had no side airbags or aluminum door sills).
I have a few set ups
First here are RPF-1s 18X9 AND 19X10. hoosier a6 295 FRONT, 315 REAR

Stockers with Advan AD08 tires, 275 front, 295 rear

My first track wheels. Rota Torque 18x9, hoosier r6 275 front 295 rear

wheels from last season. OZ alleglites (or something like that) 18x9 square BFG r1 275 square

Current set up (no pics yet) RPF 18x9 and 18x10 275 square BFG R1

Why run a square set up on 9 and 10 inch wide staggered wheels?
Looking for advice on Hoosiers A6 sizes for 2007 Nismo edition on stock rims. I am tired of running in the TIRE Class and I would love to run what Ldstang50 has on his first setup of 295 front and 315 rear. I was looking for RPF1s in 18x 9 and 19 x10 but could not find them in stock. Ldstang50 – What offsets did those RFP1s have and what aspect ratio on the tires? I am running autocross in C Stock trim and cannot change wheel sizes. Offset can only change .25” or about 6mm to stay in class. 03threefiftyz please let me know your thoughts. I want to run as fat a tire as possible without rubbing, changing offsets or wheel sizes and whacking stuff with hammer.
If you don't mind being bumped out of stock class, I would strongly consider going down to 18's all around. I'd run 18x10.5's all around with a 295 in front and 315 in back. A 315 will require a little bit of hammer on front and some camber. You'll just have to roll the back.
I am not sure I am ready to jump into the BSP waters. It’s full of sharks like you and Hippie. I would need to pick up 1.4 seconds on a 60 second run to just to break even on the PAX difference. Do you think the extra tire would get me that much?
I would run the same sizes on the stock nismo wheels, too. It will just cost less if you go with 18's in back. The wider wheel would increase footprint...even with the same size tires.
I see what you mean about the 19s extra cost. So stock Nismo rims with Front 195/30R18 and Rear 315/30R19? That would be awesome. Will I need to make any camber adjustments or offset changes to get them to fit?
Can't comment on whether you need a small spacer or not....have to have someone else chime in. You can't adjust camber in C-stock. My guess is the 295 in front will rub a little bit. I am not 100% sure the 315 will fit in back without a roll, which I doubt highly is stock legal. You may have to run 295 square.

I called Tirerack years ago and ordered them, they are hard to come by. I might consider selling mine

I love seeing other UY Zs
