I know. LOL It does kind of look freaky. I didn't realize I looked around that much, but that's a good thing. I like that camera view though. I can see everything.

Because on some of the corners I am; especially if I go over the candies. My diff sucks (Quaiffe) is my first guess or I am driving too aggressive. I think it's the diff. I want an OS Giken.

I like the driving! Only sign of under steer was @3:40 and that might of been you setting up the turn late? Either way they say if the tires aren't screaming you ain't pushing it! Something like that

Thanks!
I agree. I am still going to work on some suspension tuning next event. I am going to be running TTC and attempting to place against the S2000's that just dominate TTC. I have a hard time believing that everyone that drives one is that good of a driver. It has to be partly of the cars well base class and stock setup from Honda.
Next event is in about 2.5 weeks.

With aero on the car, I have not been able to get it loose in T1 at MO. Speed is about 85mph through there. Looks like I need to go faster and grow another ball or something.

So I removed my whole pumpkin and have it for sale here on the forum. I have a guy that should be paying me tonight for it. I am getting another pumpkin from a member on here "scotts300". I am getting his old Nismo diff and is set to 80% lock. I am really looking forward to getting this and trying it out. I know Scott has put a lot of time into getting the diff setup right with the correct lock and fluid to use. I will get to try it out at the next MO at the end of June. Only need .6 seconds from my best time last year to get the Great Lakes region TTB record.
A couple weeks ago I did another event at Putnam Park in Indiana. This track is the most slippery I have ever seen it. They are re-paving it in the fall and it definitely needs it. Here is a video of me from Saturday. I am over driving the hell out of the 245's. You can hear the wheel spin on multiple corners and the plowing from carrying to much speed for the tires grip...
The only way to be smooth on this track is to go slower so you don't have to chop saw the wheel and you can see I wasn't having it...lol I've never had the car sliding as much as I did here. You can see coming out of turn 8 (dead bear) that at times the wheel is almost straight as I'm tracking (almost drifting) out. Good times!

Here are some pics of the diff removed.

Well...the Nismo diff was a huge improvement. I have yet to get any wheelspin anywhere now. I ran Mid Ohio last month and it was hotter than ever. It was around 100 and I still ran faster than I did last year at Nats when it was 75....and I am still on stock suspension. I ran a 1:37.9 last year at Nats and I ran a 1:37.5 last month in extreme heat and I friggin missed 5th gear on my fastest lap which cost me several tenths I'm sure. I am going again next weekend. If it is 85 or lower I should have no issues getting into the 1:36's. The regional TTB record is 1:37.2 which is held by the guy that won Nats last year in TTB.
Here is a video from the last event. Data starts on 3rd lap. I try for one more flyer at the end of the video, but you can see my tires were done. I put two off coming out of T1. I'm running 275's all around now.

Do you have any measurements for the home-made diffuser?

I do not. I would have to climb under the car and measure. It goes back from the bumper until right in front of the sway bar. I found if I went back past the sway bar, it would hit it and prevent me from being able to make it level with the ground.
Is there anything special you had to do to remove what I think is the heater core in behind the center console?
I couldnt really get at it and I'm not very skilled at this type of thing so I just started smacking it out with a hammer.
I'm down to the little radiator looking things. Can I just cut the lines and take them out? Are there any precautions to be taken? Just cut those lines that come through the firewall and cap them off?
