Went up to cage shop on Friday and did some work on the car since it is still sitting there.
I am scheduled for a dyno tune at IP on 3/23. Shooting for 275whp (dynojet) with my new 104 Sunoco fuel. IP has a DD dyno so it will probably be around 250 on their dyno. Also changed out pretty much all my Motordyne resonator exhaust sections with straight pipe ones. The car is much louder. Also, have a modified stock plenum to allow more plenum volume.
I'll post up pics of the cage as soon as I get the car back which should be a week or so before the dyno run.

These pics do not even come close to do it justice. I was in a hurry. I've slept about 3 hours in the past 36 hours and I have to go to work then catch a plane in the AM for vacation....Dominican Republic with my new fiancee.
I will be slaving over the car to get it ready when I get back. I will add some more updates then. Excellent and very surprising news. Car weighs 2860lbs with cage and 1/4 tank.

Mw9 I won't be able to make it to mid-Ohio in April cuz I'll be graduating from grad school. But I plan on being there for the end of June event!
Looks awesome Dominic, happy birthday again!

C'mon man....I just got home from being awake 26 hours and barely had motivation to take pics...got 3 hours of sleep and I am back at work now then catching a flight in the AM.
Trust me, when I get back and get working on the car, I will get a ton of pics. It is dirty as hell right now, too. It's needs a lot of TLC and work done before the first race.
-Change all fluids
-buy two more HoHo's and get all tires mounted
-many odds and end things
-mount new roll cage gauge pods
-dyno tune at IP
-front and rear control arms replaced
-add GLZC stickers
-alignment & corner balance
-new seat belt eye bolt floor mounts

Don't forget to add kill switch to the list.
My car goes to the cage guy on Saturday to put the front hoop in; then alignment and corner balance.
Still need to sort out the front splitter as well.

Kill switch is on the list, but not mandatory for TT. I'll probably get one sometime soon though. Thanks again for the detail on the install.
Good luck at the cage shop.

The car did well on the dyno. Had it tuned at IP/Dynosty on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. They were telling me that the dynojet correction is about 12%. I've heard anywhere from 10%-14%. It did 248whp and 244 torque. I was really impressed with the torque. It only did 228 torque on their dyno last time. The torque is really flat. It's at 235ish at 2100rpm and stays within 10 of that all the way to 4000 or so. They were having issues with their printer, so I don't have a copy at the moment. I am waiting on them to email the pdf file. I will post it on here. I was shooting for 275whp dynojet. Based on the correction factor I am about there. I am happy to put up those numbers on a non-revup with no internal engine work.

I spent about 10 hours on the car on Thursday. I had just got back from vacation. I made some steel tabs that attached to the back of the seat bracket. I then put the eyebolt thru there. I will get some pics soon. I am going to post up some more pics once the interior is 100% back together and ready to go.

248.6whp and 244 torque. This is a Dyno Dynamics dyno so it reads lower than most. The correction factors I've been told and read puts me about 277whp Dynojet and that's what NASA goes by. Attached is the sheet. Check out that sexy torque curve.

Still been slaving over the car just about every night after work. I am making a new splitter. I have a pic of that being fitted to the car for the first time. Still working on the front supports for it. Also, got all my gauges back in and my new roll cage pods for oil and water temp. I attached a pic of the car when it was on the dyno at IP and a pic of my Hoosier stash. There are 7 old 255/35/18's and a sticker set of 245/17's. All A6's I also got a set of 225/17's scrubs from a friend that I am going to try too, but they are not in the pic. I'm trying all kinds of crazy setups this year to find the perfect one for Nats.

It's cool to see some cars that are way further along than mine. Gives me some direction into what I should be doing.
But, what's your opinion on cutting out the metal behind the seats that used to contain the glove boxes and speakers?

The automatic cluster does not display anything in the gear position display. There is a long story why I have that...
I am indifferent to removing it. I thought about doing it, but I would think it adds some rigidity to the car. Although, now that I have a cage, it may not be so significant. I may remove it anyway.
