You must be so pumped Mike. What would that DE be worth with SG LTH, and the ITB's like 10,000? And hard to tune.

I'm now wondering what a high comp, cammed, HR with ITB's and LTH will make?!! 425whp+?

the ITB setup by itself is more like around 7k ! SGM header were at like 2k
the engine 5k !

so that would bring the cost to 14k !
without tuning with ITB which you would need something like an Haltech/vipec in a low budget zone.. thats 3k (tuning included)

we are at 17k !

as for the HR engine, I estimate it to be at 400-415whp
wait and see,, seem like Sasha will be faster than me on this project !
it should be a very interessting later on this year

Im pretty sure he will keep the same stroke of the HR engine as I transfered the VHR crank in my HR block (spare engine) Vq37HR Vs Vq35HR

I just read that the Cusco one is made of chomoly and is 33% lighter than traditional steel cages.

I would just get can alignment to weld one in. For some reason I don't trust the cusco one

Ya I hear you. Probs lots of options other than a Cusco.
But I like it and it would suit my needs I think. I doubt they would sacrifice strength and rigidity to save weight on a safety device. I'm sure it was engineered to a certain degree. Meh.

I wouldn't put in a bolt in cage, especially since there are so many places around here that can do a custom welded cage. CSC racing, Scott, Joe Ferguson (used to work for Sasha) all have great reputations. A 4 point shouldn't weigh much, plus would let you cut out some more metal, might even get one in for not much extra weight at all.

I think Scott and CSC both priced out around 1200 for me last year give or take. That was 4 point plus harness bar.
