Thinking ill add the temp probe to the diff just to see whats really going on.

OIL DATA! I have recently added in oil press and temp into my data system.

Seems like APS pan is very effective even at max gforce minimal pressure drop. at 47psi

Temp Data is in F NOT C, track attack is doing an incorrect conversion. 34 row cooler works great very effective. 244 F max and able to recover.

APS oil pan. Temp measured in the oil pan directly.

Awsome to see you data logging oil temps. This is one area that most people don't seem to put thought into and can greatly affect the performance and longevity of our engine. Glad to see you are having a blast.

Made our yearly trek to WV and Shenandoah at summit. Skid pad time is invaluable.
New PR for the full course 1.58.8

Put on some new 275/40/18 NT01's BEEFY very purposeful looking tires. For sure rubs more but nothing crazy. Dont think ill run them again, but was a great deal, found them locally.

Car ran perfect. No issues to report. Clean it up and park till next season.

Lots of winter updates I will continue to document here.
Upgraded for autosport laps MK2 to give me ability to log more data channels and added the shifx3.
Kam designed and 3d printed me a column mount for it. Super slick.

External gps antenna. MK2 mounted in the center console.

Yeah, some of us die-hards are still on forums!

I really would love to spend some $$$ on a nice setup like yours! I'm going to pick up Solostorm to use for AX and the occassional track event.

The car is a total sleeper. It looks like a 100% clean street car and makes me want to keep mine blue. Well done.

Good stuff guys! In terms of data from the last post. I didnt document here, I also added trans and diff temp.
I was logging last season oil press, temp, trans temp, diff temp. All based on lap into my data system!

I am adding brake pressure sensors this season.

Another big change, OS Giken diff!!!
So excited to try out a real Motorsport grade differential
Quaife has been sold and on to a new owner Wont miss it much, didnt lock up much more than stock for me. More of a dual purpose diff, I dont think ive driven the Z on the street in 3 years at this point...

Appreciate all your effort and time keeping this thread well updated. I've only been with the Z for about 18 months now. Planning my next set of upgrades for 2020 HPDE events. I need that magic mod that allows for 2900 lbs. with me and fuel, another 100 plus hp and still have A/C Good luck with your 2020 season; I'll be following along.

OSG LSD is the best choice, I hope. According to OSG the stock setting will lock up 100% when racing but frees up at low speeds so it should be gentle around the pits. How did your diff temps turn out?

Well see, I traded this OSG for my old quaife. Its suposto be setup 1.5 way. It feels hardcore on the street not gentle. First event is the 27th. I will be logging temps for sure.

Biggest project / update from this winter. Brand new Momo Daytona seats and LRB speed door cards. OEM door pannels didnt fit at all, these seats are HUGE. Very secure feeling, taking the safety up a level with these.
All the seat mounts had to be re-done compared to my Sabelts. Still running fixed both sides, no sliders. Very solid feeling.
Had to cut out a re-weld the passenger side floor "hump / bump". No going back to OEM now.
