2020 season FINALLY got moving here. Got out to NYST with @camposrod send the Z TRAIN! had a blast, open track format. No instructing allowed yet. Lots of seat time

So, ALOT was changed over this extended pause in the season.
The 12s and brake ducts feel so much better than the 16s with nothing. Much more feel and bite. The 16s were not the correct pads for my setup. Very happy.

Tune is great power and RPM are a game changer. No more smashing the rev limiter or short shifting.

Now, the OSG diff has SO MUCH more grip I have surprised and impressed. Very noticeable improvement over the quaife. I was able to really put the power down much sooner. If you are on the fence at all about a high end diff just do it, worth it.
I am logging temp still and will report how its looking, so far was normal temps around 250f at NYST.

Good news about the OSG LSD, my helical LSD is being changed for a OSG too so looking forward to that experience. Helicals are great in theory but my rear end has always been prone to a quick loss of grip on corner exit so fingers X for the OSG. My theory is that helicals either work 100% or else zero, no in between.

Next we did Lightning with Jeffapalooza! This is an invite only open track ALL DAY kind of event. 130 laps in one day!! wowoww.
Rear diff took a beating temp wise. Cooler to be installed.

Rod broke an axle so we swapped in a spare I carry.
I had to swap pads.
So much seat time..... endurance is key here

New PR 1.18.35 Very happy about that.

Another trip back to jeffapalza. NJMP lightning again. New PR - 1.17.94
These events are super addictive. 180laps this time!!! Takes some real stamina. 1 - 1.5 hour stints.
Rod had a sidewall blow out on the R888. Scary stuff. Swapped to some used NT01 and dropped 1-2 sec on the same day.

Here is the diff cooler I made. Heavily influenced by the Alaria design. Just buy the kit! This was a ton work, I did save about $300 all said and done.
https://ma-motorsports.com/products/...ial-cooler-kit

Notable improvements. I added a inline filter.
The design made sure it did not hang too low. I put the cooler mount as close to the diff as I could fit it. Right now its always on fan / pump with key on. I would like to hook up some temp based trigger logic to my race capture for this.

Ok all caught up now!
Last event for 2020 season is NJMP Thunderbolt. Had a really good crew show up this time. Had a blast doing some lead / chase all day. All the drivers run within 1-2sec of each other.
New PR!! 1.37.84

Diff cooler data! Note the temp rise by lap is much less severe. I need some more extended cession events to be sure.

2021!
I was poked a few times from you guys to re-boot this thread.
Were still here!!!! Plan is, go faster than ever!

First things first after 2020. Had to service the trailer. Been a LONG time. Not so exciting. New fenders welded on, new bearings breaks and drop links. Basically everything.
Surprisingly this made a massive improvement in towing stability. I guess I should have figured, I have no idea how old my steel beast trailer is.
