Default Brake Squeaking

I have an 03' with 25K miles and the brakes started sqeaking on the front right very load during braking. I got some Hawk hps and getting them installed today. Does anyone know why the squeaking is only coming from the right. Someone from the dealer said that there is a sensor for the brakes that detects the amount left on the pad and triggers some alarm near the brakes....??

Probably just needs to be changed unless it has a rock or something stuck on the pad.

Keep in mind, the wear won't be perfectly even so it is possible for one side to wear faster than the other.

I was at the dealer yesterday and I complained about the same problem. They gave me a bulletin that Nissan issued "March 22, 1995". It claimed that Nissan was introducing non-asbestos organic (NAO) brake pads on "several models", and will phase in addtional models "asap". The bulletin# was P195-066. Now, that was 11 years ago. Why are they still passing around that same Technical Service Bulletin? LOL

makes one wonder
