Aftermarket Pads for 06 Non-Brembo
Have any new aftermarket pads come out for the non-brembo 06s? The last I found were the Hawk HPSs. Have any new ones come out yet? Endless SSSs would be my first choice
i'm in the same boat...according to performance nissan, noone makes pads except for hawk (hps, as you mentioned).
i've been to streets of willow on stock pads/rotors w/motul rbf 600 and i didn't get a single bit of fade (i was harder on the brakes than necessary and i clocked a 1:34.9). i burned through some pad material and had to add fluid, but taht's about it...
if it's your first day tracking (assuming this from reading your other post), i think you should be fine. upgrade the fluid at the very least and be mindful of the fluid level (take a bottle w/you to the track so you can add some iff you need to).

trust me, w/the motul and it being your first event, you'll be fine.
also, it's always a good idea to run stock and gradually mod so that you know exactly what works for you vs. everyone else.
if there's anything i've learned by tracking my car, it's that everyone has their own perception/feeling about everything. JIC coilovers might be the only way to go for some while others will prefer stock suspension or koni s/a's.
i'm not saying to disregard what people have to say, but you should atleast run the car stock and go from there, imo you'll be happier w/the end result.
