Default Question about OEM Brembos

Hello all, great site you guys got here.

I have a 04 Base model, and recently have stumbled upon a set of OEM Brembo calipers and rotors (front and rear) off a G35(not sure what year).

My question is will these bolt directly up to my exisiting setup, or do I need to modify? if so, what do I need to complete the job.

Thanks in advance

Should work without any issues. If you want us to double check post the link so we can see exactly what they are selling.

They will work but you will have to remove or cut the dust shields. You will also need the brakes lines as well from the G.

I have G35 Brembos on my Enthusiast.

You need the calipers, rotors, lines, and rear caliper bolts.

When I did mine, I also flushed the brake fluid with ATE Super Blue.

Thanks for the replys.

I have the setup in my possesion already minus the rears. A friend of a friend upgraded his G35 to big brake kit. gave me a incredible deal for all 4 calipers and rotors with pads, now I just want to make sure I got everything that I need to get these on. Are there any part numbers located on the calipers them self? so I can make sure these came off a G35. I would hate to take my brakes apart only to find out they wont fit.

Sounds like I wont need much hardware, I already have calipers, rotors, pads. I may just buy new stainless lines, because I noticed the ones supplied are not.

Cheers!

Well if you got them from a friend, then there shouldn't be any issues about which car they came off of. There are no part numbers on them to identify them IIRC.

As stated above, I got these through a friend of a friend. Wondering if brembo might be able to give me ID markings of some sort.

Im assuming he wouldnt lie to me, but in my business you learn to trust no one. So I would rather confirm myself, just so I know basic questions like what year g35 they came off, and so on.....

bought some new volk GT-s and Im planning to do this in a few days, Ill keep everyone posted. Thanks again for the input.

As others said you will need the rear caliper bolts. I have some extra's if you need them. I just put the rear oem brembo's on my car and nissan made me order 10 of them.
