I have also not received the camber arms. I cancelled the traction arms and he refunded my paypal account. At this point I have put nearly 5000 miles on waiting for the arms. I'm sure the tires are wearing funny and will need replacement next year after the thaw.

lsdunique,
Please either send the arms or refund my money asap. I will simply reinstall the stock springs or order from somewhere else. What is the ETA for the arms?

Rob and Richard,

I know I cant just keep apologizing, and I have made every effrot on my side to accomodate both of your orders because of their respective delays.

Unfortunately both of your orders initially came right between batches from the machinist, which is no excuse. I was trying to hammer all my orders out before having to fully commit to another project for the last couple weeks in August, but your two orders got caught up in all the mess on my end.

I can only assure you that both your arms were packed up personally by myself on Tuesday but didnt get dropped off at UPS until yesterday afternoon. I am emailing you both tracking numbers after this post.

I have also given you both shipping refunds.

If you still desire a refund, please don't hesitate to email me and I will post a full refund to your accounts.

Robert

Any word for the camber in the front? Is it really an issue up there? Will my 8.5 rim look retarded?

What is the estimated shipping cost for someone in Illinois?

Stillen has a rear camber adjuster that comes with Rod-Ends. Arent Rod-Ends the same as the Traction Rods?

Sorry for being illliterate.

No, the traction rods are a completely different suspension arm that runs front to back, as opposed to side to side. The stillens use a spherical rod end on there arms, which is another option as opposed to a bushing. We chose not to use rod ends on the camber and traction arms because without some sort of bushing, the ride becomes harsh and sometimes noisy.

concerning the front, the real benefit is the fact that you can now actually adjust the camber!!! the factory allows for zero camber adjustment, and this becomes and even worse problem when lowering the car.

The front upper A-arms will allow for camber asjustment while on the car. They use a heavy duty spherical bearing joint and energy suspension polyurethane bushings.

Default HERE's what the STILLEN pieces look like

These are the STILLEN units with the rod ends. I don't know if they use Aurora or National... might call and ask. . .

Received my camber rods from lsdunique and am impressed with the workmanship. After installing them, I wanted to mention that you must remove the rear sway bar mounts to get enough clearence to remove the upper mounting bolts of the stock rods out (actually this looks like a good fail safe design from Nissan). It was a nice little project that took a few hours and I'm looking forward to getting the rears aligned properly.

Good job and fine product, lsdunique!

Pardon the dumb question... I lowered my car (Infiniti G35) with Eibach springs in both front and back. So do I need two sets of camber rods? Or does the price include 4 rods? Or do they only go on the back? etc.

I took my car in for an alignment and the toe-in was fine. The camber was off in both front and back, of course.

You can only adjust the camber in the rear so only one set (2 rods)

Got my camber bars, and they work flawlessly. Went to get my car aligned and wanted my camber at -1.3. The rights rear was able to achieve this, but my left rear was not able to get to -1.3 without serous toe'ing. I had to settle with -1.9 with the toe still out of factory spec on the left rear. Will the traction bar fix this problem? I'm confused where the traction bar is, do you have picture of it's location? Maybe the G35 coupe traction bar is different. From my knowledge (limited) the adjustment to the toe is near bottom spring housing. I have nothing that looks like the traction bar near there.

Here is a pick with camber bar installed. Nice work LSD!!

Here's a pic of the stock traction rod (black one in front) with the LSD camber rod on the 350Z.

Thanks for the pics.

Do you think going from -1.9 camber to -1.3 is going to make a difference in tire wear? All I care about is tire wear. 20" tires are not cheap.

For proper handling both sides should be the same. So if you can only get the left to -1.9 you should make the right side the same. Improper toe angles will cause more wear on the tire then camber, albeit evenly across the tire.

From your pics it doesn't look like you have a traction rod so you're going to have to get your Toe as close as possible to spec and go with higher neg. camber.

Do you have all the specs for the G35?

Well crap, I just had both of those rods replaced with OEM ones after some spirited driving bent them. Would have been nice to go with these instead. Oh well!

After close inspection I do have a traction rod.

Can you explain to me how this can adjust the toe. It seems like all the traction bar will adjust the wheel going back and forth, not left to right. I guess sort of like a caster adjustment?
