developing camber and traction rods for rear, any interest?
Hi
Ordered a set of camber rod's only... as the 350Z I have has just Eibach Pro Springs.
Or should I have got the traction rod's also?
I need the Camber rod's quick as I will have NNA replace the front tires, and don't want the rear to be out of spec.
Of course the issue is the Bounce problem, and the Front "Eating" exspensive tires in 9,000 miles due to a Caster design flaw in the Nissan Multi-Link front suspension.
Cheers Amy

I have a G35 coupe and cannot get my rear camber back to specs with the camber rods. The best I can do without affecting the toe is 2.0. I went to Darin who works at west end alignment in gardena. Darin mentioned that the infiniti needs a adjustable bushing near the spring pocket. I still don't get the theory on how it would solve it, but that's what he told me.
here ya go folks.....

it's what I did to fix the toe problems you get when youre lowered and are using camber arms to get camber back into spec.
I did the mod on mine and my camber is perfect and so is the toe.... and I'm dropped about 2" in rear.

It is true that when lowered 2"+ that bringing the camber back to spec means the toe can't brought back even with our traction rods.
Our Z is lowered about 2.5" and we couldn't bring it back to spec.
So I did your fix with the dremel!!!
It worked great, so I wanted to say thank you!!! because now we can save our rear tires.
The fix works great.

I am lowered about 1.5-1.75" with my JIC's. If I buy both the camber and traction rods will I be able to adjust toe back in or do I still have to performs N74DV's toe mod? If so then why spend $$$ on the traction bars, what do they really do for you? Can people with them post your feelings on them, thanks. I am looking to order at least camber arms early next week.
the traction bars are merely eye candy. If I were you I would purchase only the camber rod. You WILL need to do the toe mod even if you bought traction bars (like I did).
If you were to go with coilovers JIC makes a camber rod that would work in conjunction with the LSD camber rod. The JIC rod basically replaces the stock spring cup arm.
