I'm only interested in getting rid of the tire noise when braking and the loudness of the tires in general.I've dynamated the whole car,not for the tire noise, but for stereo .I can still hear the noise over the stereo when I apply the brakes.i have about 12500 miles on the car and it started at about 7000 miles or so.Any fixes for this yet?

Thanks for the advise!

I have the same sound. A friend thinks my brakes are bad. Who knows, maybe when they wear down the road/breaking noise becomes much louder.

myG35zx & kennytb:

There is a TSB out on the tire noise when braking, TSB03-006. Check the TSB's in the Resources section.

Just a word of caution. I purchased a set of these camber arms from PriceWise on e bay 10-16-03. Three weeks later, it does not appear that they have shipped. E bay vendor is slow to respond / does not respond to email and continues to post multiples of this item for sale. I am sure I will be happy with the product if I ever receive it but would suggest that others consider ordering directly from LSDunique.

zwindsor ,Thanks for the info, but I've read that the tbs is only a temp.fix, and the problem comes back.I couldn't find the resources section.Have there been any changes in the service bulliten? From what I understand, it's the camber adjustment that in not right and can't be adjusted.

Thanks

Look under the My350Z.com header at the very top, the Resource button is below it. I can't confirm that it's only a temp fix but it makes sense if the toe is out of spec. No changes to the TSB that's been reported.

I haven't heard anything about camber being the cause so you got me there. But if that's the case then only cars that have been lowered putting the camber out of spec would have this problem. The problem has been reported on stock cars.

zwindsor, thanks again. How do you like your nismo rims?I really like the look myself.I was considering them also.Is there any difference in the ride between the 17" and 18" rims?I would think it would be a little rougher considering the thinner side wall.

I like the rims now. At first I thought it could use a wider lip but I've grown to appreciate the simplicity. I've gotten lots of compliments. I had 18's to begin with so the ride is pretty much the same. You feel a little more of the road irregularities due to the wider tires but nothing uncomfortable.

I bought a pressure washer to take care of the brake dust,it works great, but is still to much work. How are the hawk brake pads for dust and squeaking?

Pressure washer seems like overkill for just the wheels but then you have 17's so it's harder to get into all the slots. The Hawks keep the wheels almost dustless. I had a little intermittant squeal from the left front but it has disappeared.

So the GENERAL Consensus is that if you have only Eiback Pro-Kit...The Camber Rods will be sufficient w/out the Traction Rods?

Correct....

Yes, that seems to be the norm. You won't know until you install them and adjust the camber. It wasn't for me. After they adjusted my camber there was way too much toe-in and not enough adjustment.

Has anyone heard anything from lsdunique on his front a-arm replacements? I tried emailing him but did not get any reply. It would be nice to know what is going on, are we going to get a replacement or not.
I have not even heard anything from K-Mac as to whether they are shipping there front a-arms yet or not either.

check this

it'll fix your excessive toe-in. I was able to drop my car 2", get -1.5 degrees camber AND get my toe back to .04" after this mod.

yep mine is perfect in both aspects with the camber rods only. I am also very interested in lsd's a-arms. the ones coming out from others are pretty expensive and lsd has a knack for awesome products at a realistic price. i'm a fan.

We had a SMALL set back with our front arms. We thought we would be able to make a particular component but found we have to have them sent out. We should be getting our pieces back mid next week, and final assembly will take a couple days. Sorry for the wait guys!!
