Default OEM non Brembro to OEM Brembo

If you have the kit, i.e. calipers, rotors and lines, is there any thing else you would need to make the change, i.e. master cylinder etc???

Thanks.

From what I can tell, I don't think people are swapping out the master cylinder.

i've switched out my master cylinder to the brembo as well. It will still work with the regular one though.

I bought my MC brand new from the dealers. I believe i paid 100+ but i can't recall. i remember it was a bit pricey. I just wanted a brand new piece. The oem and brembo master cylinders have diff part numbers. Some will say they are the exact same but they look a bit different.

My oem brakes were horrible already. I had cheap pads and warped rotors so it's hard to say the comparison. I know the brembos were MUCH better in every sense when i put them on. I ran some nicer pads, stainless lines, better fluid and it just stops great now with no fade that i can feel last time i was at the track. I never regret getting the oem brembos.

Just make sure you get the brembo rear caliper bolts. The oem rear bolts won't fit the brembo rear calipers. I reused the fronts though.

Thanks..what im trying to do is find a nice used set. I will send them off to get powder coated either with gloss black with red Brembo lettering or a gloss red with black lettering. Im thinking either will look great with the MB and gunmetal Advan RS's..

Thanks again for your help

I don't think the blue will look good at all. Do you want everyone to notice your brakes or kinda hide them. Me personally I like the black w/ red lettering. Maybe a graphite color also.

These calipers are not for the Z, but I personally love this color combo. Very tasteful for a black car imo.

Awe... If you want Endless get an Endless kit. I'm pretty sure PaulGT2 is a vendor.

The reason I went silver cause I wanted to show off my BBK but not so much like the red do on a black Z w/ black wheels.

I'd seriously look into graphite w/ red or silver lettering. Also I think StopTech offers a dark bronze. That could look hot behind those Advans!!!

No problem. I was one of the people who really paid a lot of money for my oem brembos. Close to 2000 bucks. But they had barely 5000 miles on them. just make sure you buy some good condition ones since your car is brand new.

IMO, i think the oem gold would look very nice on your car but is a bit stock looking. Next color i would choose is red. On black..and especially since you have dark wheels, you want something that contrast. Black calipers with red letters are a bit stealthy looking for me.
