Is there any way you can post a pic of what the dealer found , it could be a learning experiance for us. My car has about the same amount of miles and gets flogged on the track, if it happened to you , it could happen to me and others.

Holy crap that is completely effed... it should be in the center like this:
That price sounds about right for the lower control arm... how the hell did this happen though? Did you hit something or run over a curb? Don't know how they would get dislodged from the crossmember... thats crazy.

yup, the rubber just gave out looks like. I'd goto an aftermarket piece personally....will give you other options...and you can goto a more "rugged" bushing.
Is your car red? or did you paint your calipers red?
If car, then its been wrecked, if calipers then try masking next time!

Nothing aftermarket as far as LCA's , but you can just get the Nismo bushing installed for now.

Ben there is a salvage yeard near me that get's a ton of Z's if you want I can look around and get you a price for a control arm...............let me know.
The same salvage yard got me a low mile tranny and engine and it works fine. The tranny was a cd009 or the lastest one and the engine has almost 15k on it.

I have a creaking noise also...
My car only has about 32,000 miles but it's an 03 and it is making a creaking noise, it sounds like what is being described here. I had the Nismo susp then lowered the springs with the tanabe's. Is it possible that the endlinks would go bad with this realatively low amount of miles?
Is it not possible to just replace the bushings on the lower control arm, are are they attached?

I have the same problem! I had to replace my right lower control arm, it was so loose my wheel almost fell off. Now my left is making the same noise. I hear a clunking noise every time i turn my wheel and try to enter a incline or bumps.
And worst thing is my ride sucks, i feel every bumps, do you guys have the same problem with ride being really harsh yet bouncy? Thanks

I replaced the front swaybar endlinds and am still hearing the creaking noise. My left lower control arm looks okay to me. When I back down the slope of driveway I turn my steering wheel hard to the right and this is when I get a creaking noise. It sounds like it's coming from the steering wheel knukle area, I wonder if if it safe to try a little extra grease on the gears of the steering wheel knuckle to see if it does any good.
