i am in the market for this kit...how hard and how long to install?
i do a lot of my own work...including header install...so i would be doing this one myself
also, how long is the break in?

Why is the pad and rotor break-in procedure so important?
PROPER BREAK-IN OF ROTORS AND PADS IS CRITICAL. Not properly doing so can cause permanent damage to rotors and adversely effect overall brake performance. Pads and rotors interact with each other to provide efficient brake performance. The break-in or bed-in procedure is done to condition the pad/rotor interface. Depending on the pad used, more or less pad material is uniformly transferred onto the disc as a thin film. The resins and bonding agents in some pads need to be heat cycled to work properly as well. By not properly bedding in pads, uneven pad material deposits can occur that may cause a vibration. Improper wear characteristics may also show up on either the pads, or rotors, or both. Always follow the recommended break-in procedure for any pads, rotors or brake systems. This link is to the Technical page of our website. As for the pricing you asked in pm, I wouldn't purchase based on price. Buy the product from a distributor that can help you with any technical issues that you may incur, such as when you're flushing out the brakes. I have found the vendors selling products for cheap are practically useless when it comes to support or knowledge of the product.

i have these same rotors, and just wanted to give you a word of caution...the brake pad doesn't cover the entire surface of the rotor so when the rotors get wet and you get that rust, there will be about a half an inch of rust near the hub that won't get rubbed off by the brake pad. And that rust will just always be there...it's kind of an eye sore, but i guess you'll get used to it. It pissed me off when i first found out, but i guess i got over it...

I have this same kit, but purchased it from MyNismo.com with Nismo pads, those Axis one's the kit normally comes with are junk. Spend the extra money, do it right!! You won't look back.
I don't see the braided lines in your photos, they made the biggest difference I think. Pedal feels great, 100x better than stock.

i did a search on "axxis ultimate" and the pads seem to put out more brake dust than other brands....no big deal to me as long as they stop and grip which from what i have read these pads do pretty well.
one review even said they liked the pads because they covered the whole rotor.
confused even more now with conflicting information....but i suggest potential buyers read for themselves
my personal opinion would be that a reputable company would not put crap pads with top quality components...just my .02
