Replaced rubber bushings with pillowballs.. AWESOME!
The nismo replacements do not replace the bush that joins to the suspension strut. My assumption is that this bush doesn't receive much lateral load hence the bush does not bust as easily. Most of the load is verticle. Maybe kuah can shed some light on this.

Just installed a set from SPL. I measured the OEM bushes and the SPL's were within 0.01 of a mm for the outer diameter. Bit of fun getting the oems out but the SPLS went in smoothly. I haven't driven on them much yet but so far no noise.
I also noticed that the SPL's are a tad wider than the aluminium arm so when they are press fitted you want them to be about 0.5 mm sticking out on each side.
If you are doing the install yourself take note the one side has a taper for easier entry on the aluminium arm when the busing is being pressed.

Rob cannot really comment at the moment as I have not had a chance to get the car re-aligned. I drive the car to work each day and so far no apparent issues or noise.
My problem is I don't know how long the oem bush was blown and have felt the front end was a bit loose but never knew why until I noticed the bush.
I hate to say they are awesome when I haven't got something to compare it to.

I was lucky enough to use a friends press and did the work my self. If you are good with your hands and have access to a decent heavy duty vise you can do it your self with some patience. I had a spare arm at home and pushed out the oem push with a large socket that fit perfectly and 2 old conrords to provide the space on the other side of the bush.
