need help with camber kit w/ budget?
i wanted to lower my car. thinking about tanabe nf210. not sure what the difference is with that and df210. only thing i noticed was front and back for nf210 are 1.2inch drop and df210 is 1front 1.2back. i read a lot of threads recommending camber kits. so i decide i wanted to buy. but they're so damn expensive. i found these cheap one on ebay non brand for front and back for 199. any good? other pictures of name brand stuff looks like they come with a whole bunch of other parts. would this be everything i need? any suggestions. big differnce between 199 front and back with other real brands $550. forgot to mention that my stock tires were cambered when i replaced them with new 19". not sure if this link will work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=170435721709

I feel you OP. $550 is a little ridiculous. Add that on top of the springs and structs and you're over 1k easy. All of which is to simply drop the car a few inches.
Sometimes Ebay got some good stuff. There have been things I've bought from Ebay that fit better than authentic or brand named items. I would just stay way from Ebay things that could endanger your life. In the case of camber arms, its pretty hard for those things to fail under normal driving conditions. There are failsafe mechanism built into most camber arms (castle nut + cotter pin) and multi point adjustments that will keep it from falling apart. I have yet to see a camber arm snap in half. If anything, the adjusters on top might be a little weak and could shake itself out of place. The rear camber arms don't look very promising though. Typically there are two locking nuts that will keep it from moving.
Ebay is always a crap shoot, just do some research and some times you can save yourself a few bucks.

You won't need a front camber kit, just get yourself an SPC rear kit and call it a day.

i wish i hadn't wasted my money on SPC and bought SPL in the first place. i have come to realize almost nothing can be done on a budget with the Z these aren't honda civics. save up to get quality the first time and don't regret it later. TANABE springs are about $180 plus $250 for SPL camber arms is about $450 to drop the car. if you are gonna buy struts too, should have just bought coilovers.

wow thanks for all the advice. i really dont even know what the camber arms do thats why i ask if it's important to have a good one or not. it just looks like a chunk of metal thats put in to hold something to me. so that flimsy crap probably is no good. so usualy it's just the back that is necessary? b/c the front is so much more expensive. i i find a lot less sold online. mainly found the back. my buddy also recommended just re aligning my car every year and it'll keep the car from cambering. true or false? what's an spc and spl? is it usually one or the other??? im not very good with car parts so bare with me. i almost wasted 180bucks b/c my throttle body sensor was broken. i found the part online for 113shipped. and then realized it was only 4 screw holding it on. saved myself the labor money. so besides the springs? im gonna need front and back camber kit. and other things too? struts etc? i never realized now many things needed to be done. i've always thought spring and bam you're done. thanks again for replying so quickly everyone

Nope, people have had many bushing failures with them.
SPL and SPC are companies that make camber arms. SPL are probably the best ones money can buy for the Z, something not really needed unless you heavily drift or track your car. Front camber arms are not needed for most cars if your not dropping it more than 1 to 1.5 inches. Yes your front camber will be out of spec but the Z needs more front camber anyhow. You mention shocks, well depending on the condition yours, you may need them. Shocks have a usable life of around 60k miles, stock shocks will also wear out a lot faster when used with a lowered spring. I suggest changing shocks and spring at the same time. It will save you money on alignments later.

Get springs and SPC REAR camber kit. Thats all you really need.
You typically only need a front kit if you are dropping your car really low.
And read more. This info is all over this forum. I wish we had a rep system so we didnt have to post the obligatory facepalm pictures in 50% of the threads on this forum...

Hey I used to run those GF210 I actually have a set in my garage still that I took off my car when I went with my stance coilovers. They pulled the tires in a good amount in the rear so you will need the spc rear camber kit when I bought mine it was $179 pm if you have any questions.
