Default Upgraded Rotors on Track Brembo system

Hey guys, so after just replacing my gearbox and clutch it looks like my front and rear rotors need to be replaced too.. I have done a little research and talked to a few people about prices, but now it comes down to brands. I will just be daily driving my car, with the occasional "heavy driving" but noting too hard like track use. The brands I have been looking at are:

DBA 5000series 2pc front and 1pc rear
Project MU SCR Pro 2pc front and 1 pc rear (drilled/slotted)
Performance Friction 2pc front and Stop tech 1pc slotted rear

I will also be adding Stainless Steel brake lines the the setup

also anyone have any good ideas for pads??

Thanks for the help guys,

Andrew

If you are going to stay with the same callipers and rotor size, I do not see a upgrade. Fancy rotors will stop the car same as OEM set up. I am sure that the rotors selected will look pretty.

Some of us have had good luck with the r1concepts rotors, especially for only DD use. I think I paid $400 for all 4 on my '03 Track. I don't think daily driving a car warrants spending the money on 2 piece rotors, especially if you dont have poewr upgrades, but if you want to and can then more power to you.

I personally run Axxis Ultimate pads front and back, though the backs tend to squeal some when not driven hard.

Thanks for the input so far guys! I should have specified that I am going to be building a twin turbo setup and an increase in stopping power is warranted.... I've heard that upgrading to a two piece rotor which is slotted will increase the braking power... Am I right on that assumption?

There's also 2pc rotors for the front from StopTech. They save 2.5lbs per rotor. Pair the rotors up with Stoptech Performance pads, and you have a very capable system.

I'd love to provide pricing, but we only sell through our distributors.

I'd also suggest you look at Cobalt Friction's XR2 pad for track use. Excellent heat range and braking torque, extremely easy on those pricey rotors. I use them for SCCA T2 racing and they've been excellent!
