Default brembo question

hey guys so swapped my oem brakes (off my 08) to brembos (04). the rotors, calipers, and brake lines were all switched.. what about the brake booster??? does that need to be switched as well? what is it exactly?

right now my brakes feel mushy. its soft half way down then its bites. so im assuming theres still lil more air in the lines.

no, you don't need the master cylinder or the brake booster off of another car. I swapped my 04 brakes to 07 brakes and had the mushy pedal even after regular bleeding.

Just buy one of these and you will be much happier with your swap.

Probably the best bleeder I have used right there. I did my Brembo swap last spring and had the whole thing bled in 20 minutes with a perfect pedal.

yea, you'll be fine without it. Probably wouldn't make much difference with it anyways
