Default OEM Brembo Install with RAYS 370 Wheels

I installed the RAYS wheels last year and I just upgraded my brakes to the Brembos. So far, I only have the fronts done because I am still waiting for my pads to come for the rears. Just thought I would post some pics of what it looks like. I have an 04 with the single piston calipers, so this is a nice upgrade for me. I bought the Brembo calipers from someone here on the forum. I will get more pics up when the rear is completed and the car is back on the ground.

Hey OP, you have the calipers on wrong. The bleeder screw is supposed to be pointing up. From the pics looks like you have the left side caliper on the right side.

Its hard enough to bleed the calipers in the proper orientation without unbolting the top bolt and turning the caliper completely vertical. It must be impossible to bleed them upside down. You would need a vacuum AND a power bleeder at the same time to make that work!

Thanks for the info guys. I had no idea they were on wrong. I will fix that before I take it out. I rarely drive it on the street anymore. I mostly road course it up.

I believe the spacers I have are 20mm Ichiba. I'm not 100% on the size, I can't remember. I only needed them for the front though. The rears fit fine without them.

It only took me an hour or two for the fronts. I am so used to changing brakes from tracking.

I am running Carbotech XP-10s in the front and waiting for my XP-8s to come in for the rear.

How can you guys tell the calipers are on wrong? Are there markings on them?

Thanks again for the info guys. This forum is so helpful and I'm glad I posted up the pics.

Hey OP, the bleeder valve is supposed to be facing upwards, like in the picture below. First glance I took at your pictures I knew they were on wrong because your valve was facing down.

That looks awesome. I always thought about powder coating the 370 wheels black or painting them. It looks sick. If I ever get another Z for the street, I will def get these wheels again and get them painted black and slam the car.
