Default hand brake light issue

earlier tonight i was starting my car up and let it warm up for a few minutes. i was on my way home and i noticed that when i would WOT my e-brake light would come on at 3K rpms. then id let off gas and tap the brakes and it would disappear. my ebrake obviously wasnt up. im guessing some type of wiring issue? never did this before and i have no major mods on the car just an exhaust. feedback/help is much appreciated

Check your brake fluid. Its low. Either your pads are worn on you have a leak. Since you didnt complain that your pads are going to the floor I'm going to assume the pads are low.

The light isnt just for the e-brake lol.

Theres a brake fluid sensor in your resevoir and when the fluid shifts back it triggers the light to come on.
