Default Yes.. another Coilover purchase question..

Thanks guys for helping..

My budget is 1200-1500 for coilovers. My Z is a DD and I do plan on taking it to a local track a few times a year. I want a comfortable ride but I am most interested in getting rid of roll, feeling more planted, and setting the ride height exactly how I want it for the look. The roads where I live are really not that bad.. Fl. has smooth streets, for the most part. I have only seen good reviews for BC BR's but I do have a little more room in my budget and if I can see tangible benefits out of spending a few hundred more on more expensive coilovers I will..

I would appreciate any suggestions / personal experiences.

Many thanks peeps!

A couple 100 more puts you in the range of KW V2. I would consider that

^ those are a good option.....

I would recommend you read the reviews posted here and make a decision, or pm people individually, etc..

Daily driver and no racing?
Stance LX.

Realistic spring rates, can ride it extremely soft and floaty or quite tight and bumpy.
They are quality, they are pretty. ROll gone, but your sway has ore to do w that than springs tho my man.

call Pete or Darren at Intense Morotsports, they have a really good deal on them shipped, i think at a grand or under. At least thats what i paid.

MAke sure to order the extensions for the rears to adjust them,
for a grand, they are fuly adjustable, and are still not a true coil in the rear tho, theres stills spring for the pocket. I like mine, and they are very well built, far more drop possible than TEIN.

do not lower w out camber and toe correction in the rear or youll spend over a g a year on tires, period.

toe delte bolt, 80 bucks.
lower camber bar, ebay it, look for a good one, 120 bucks.

Align and done.

used perhaps, but the days of them being new at that price are done now, as KW had a substantial price increase a few months back

Good choice!

Sucks about the V3's prices jumping so much lately. I was really on the fence ready to jump in on a set.

You will have to trade comfort for handling. There is no free lunch.

I upgraded to a Nismo Z suspension. Going to get some sways and should be good to go after that. Should be a little stiffer on the road and do well on the track, if need be.

Assuming you are referring to the Ohlins as an example? Any impressions so far that you can share?

I had them on my s14 240sx and i absolutely loved them. Very nice ride, so I'm kinda thinking I'll give em a try on my 350.

Right now i'm running a 16k front spring on my Motons and it actually rides really freaking nice. The back is a little harsh with the 12.4k spring as a true coilover, sure that will go away once i order a 5k for it.
