upper control arms question

upper control arms question
I recently took my '06 z for an alignment, but was told that it couldn't be aligned due to the upper control arm bushings and ball joints being worn out on my ichiba control arms. My question is.. Will I have to buy new ichiba upper control arms (used to align the car) or can the bushings and ***** joints be changed? What do you guys recommend?

Unless you bought directly from ichiba, they won't do anything for you.
I made the same mistake as you but I caught the torn bushing before I even pulled out of the garage. Those arms are complete poop.
Unless you plan on running different caster or swapping out plates for different camber settings, pick up a set of Kinetix from IPP and cover the top of the ball joint with a tennis ball. There is a thread on this.

I called Ichiba yesterday. They asked me if I had purchased the arms from their website, I said no because I purchased them from assaultech.com. So they told me to take pictures of the arms showing that they're worn out, send it to them and they'll get back to me. So we'll see what happens.. if they don't want to do anything about it, i'll just purchase better control arms. It just sucks that you buy something thinking its good, but turns out to be garbage.
