08 Leftover????
Hey Guys, I've been doing my research on a New Z either an 09 or 2010. I ran across a dealer's website who has an 08 350 equipped to my liking listed.
1. Why would they still have an 08 listed as new ?
2. What should i look out for ??
3. What do you think would be the best approach to dealing with a two year old car, I wouldn't want to offer invoice for something that is going to lose almost half the value paid when i drive off the lot.
Thanks in advance guys.

Depends on the definition of "new." A 2 year old demo with 2,000 miles may be listed as new. The car have never been titled.
Repo.
Return from dissatisfied customer.
The best approach is the same as buying any vehicle: figure the max you are willing to pay. Visit seller and make an offer.

To protect yourself, I would run a carfax. Sometimes dealers will report cars sold to take advantage of manufacturer and tax incentives. This harms you because the warranty clock starts ticking when it's reported sold.
You may also want to familiarize yourself with local laws regarding new vehicle damage disclosures. If the car was damaged for a period of time, that may explain why it has not sold. In my state, cars with more than $700 body damage must be disclosed. Maybe your state is buyer beware, in which case you may want to take additional steps.
As far as a deal, based on invoice and Nissan payouts/incentives, you are probably going to take a pretty huge bath on this car no matter what you do.
The car is in another state and is rather far. I intend on speaking to the dealer via the phone. Can you guys give me a ballpark figure to offer >>? Buying 2yr Old, New car is completely new to me.
Sorry but don't know the MSRP. Besides if you are shopping for 370Z why even consider a 350Z?
Just saw it figured I could get a deal turns out it's used and they mislabled it. It was an 08' enthu 26000 miles..... So that's out he question now back to my real search, is it possible to get on 09 or 10 touring sport for 35500 otd.... I more interested in sport 6sp rather than the leather that tourng offers ... Sooooo wold it be possible to get the base with sport for 31500 otd???
