Default purchase advice please

Hey guys, i've been saving up to buy a 350z in the spring, but i came across a deal on a 2003 with 70k miles on it. It is everything i want, black, 6 spd. It has new black rims, a "god speed" exhaust. haven't heard of that brand, and a short RAM intake. It has been driven year round but not as a daily driver. He is asking 13 but will negotiate towards 12k. Advice? Are these cars still worth modding with higher milage? I'm looking to invest quite a bit of money into one of these cars.

Thanks in advance

My 03 has 75k...runs like new.
Depends on the scope of your "modding" for the investment.
What are you talking about?
Z prices will vary around the country.
The price the guy is asking is a bit high to me.
Maybe thats the norm in MN?
Also,a Z DOES NOT DO WELL IN THE WEATHER YOU HAVE IN MN(SNOW).

I would say a 2003 should be in the 8-10500 range depending on the model and miles (Touring and track would be the higher price point). 75k is good mileage on an almost 10yr old car. Did you run a carfax? If so any issues reported? Need more details to say if it is a good deal or not.

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...820897303.html that is the ad for the car. I plan on doing a turbo or sc build and would be replacing most if not all internals i'm sure. It would take a couple years i'm sure but that is what i plan to do. I want a fast z. I would not be driving in the winter. Dealers are asking around 16-20k around here for 350's that are a couple years newer with about 50k miles

I wouldn't say it is a good price for what you're getting. Wouldn't pay more than 11. just be patient.

Instead of asking Is this a good deal? there is a better way.

Make a budget
Check KBB.
Visit the seller and make your best offer.
