This is NOT a mid-life crisis
In a nutshell, I'm going to take a look at this Saturday and would like some feed back on whether or not others would consider this Z:

Thank you for fixing it. I really like the orange. I have wifey's blessing to test drive it, her main concern is that it's 13 years old and I would be going from a 10 y.o. Jeep to this.

For me, it would be a daily driver. I thought the price was a little high, I was going to make an attempt to haggle. The price actually speed a little already. Also depends on what I can get out of the dealer.

"LeMans Sunset" is the name of the color. And appropriate too. Does look like the color of sunset a few hours into the 24 Heures du Mans.
It's never been my color choice but neither was Brickyard until now - now I really like it.
Price is a little high but with those miles (low) and what appears to be a clean, unmolested example, it's not THAT far out of line.
Usual stuff to look for - clean CARFAX (especially title), available service records, etc. When you drive it, check for grinding going into 3rd gear (from 2nd OR 4th). '03 is notorious for the infamous third gear synchro problem. (Mine has it but with careful up/downshifting, rev match, etc. I've lived with it no prob since I got it a couple years ago.) Cure for that is upgrading the transmission to a CD009 model - or a rebuild with upgraded synchos, neither of which are inexpensive but here's the thing: it is a curable condition.
Other thing you might note if you're not familiar with this model is that the early Z33 was prone to a bit of a jarring ride (stock suspension). Not stiff like suspension's doing a good job (although it does handle just fine) but more of a buckboard ride. (This is a known complaint and something to consider for a daily driver, particularly if you have a long commute). No worries, at 46k miles, you'll probably upgrade the shocks at some point soon and a set of good shocks (and/or mild springs) will take care of that ride issue.
Yes, I'd definitely consider it.
Just a domestic word to the wise: take your other half with you to drive/ride in it. If she doesn't like it, welllllllll... heh heh. (I was lucky (or smart?)..... I got my wife HER Z before I got mine.)
Good luck!
Mic

Thanks Mic. I appreciate the insight. And that does sound a lot better than "orange". For me, that color just really stands out from the silvers, blacks and reds. Not that I don't like those colors, they just seem to be everywhere.

Thanks all. There is room enough in back for my golf clubs. I took the wife on a run to a store, and she doesn't hate it. The only problem is I cant get it over the apron into the driveway.

I've got a 4-section set (only used 3 sections) that was essential for me to get in my driveway (until they repaved my street).
