Example: When in Korea in 1999, I saw a Mustang at the PX in yellow that the PX was selling. I considered getting one when I got home. The first day back I drove from Fort Knox to Etown to talk to the Ford guy. I saw 4 yellow Mustangs of the current year on the way there (about 10 miles). When the latest model Mustang came out, about a week or two after it debuted at the dealers, I was at a stoplight in Radcliff and facing across from me was a white new mustang in one lane, a blue in the other, and a yellow behind. That is what I mean by common. I see Z's occasionally, and I like seeing them. If I had a Mustang, I would prob. have problems picking it out in the parking lots of malls.

I definitely see your point

it also depends on where you live. When i go to the Parents/ GP's home this weekend for thanksgiving You will see 2-4 times more 350zs and 3 series bimers than mustangs and F bodies.

It is very odd, People often dont know what my car is some how, i guess because it is debadged, and they ask me what it is, compliment me on it and are shocked it is a 95.

when i live up there in a few years, i have no problem sporting a builtup, blown full suspension moostang around all the vettes, m3s, etc etc . But that is just personal preference. I wil however start looking for a vette in the near future, but I need the room for the dog and wakeboards. we definitely arent carrying the Rot wiler in the 350

Snoozer:
I was VERY into Mustangs before the Bimmer and my current Z and I've never seen a 96 Slowbra run a 14.0 or below.. they're usually around 14.4-14.8 range.. I used to pull on them with my bone stock 99 Mustang GT.. and when I was modded I stomped them without a problem..
Not being a smartass. Just telling you my experiences.

So you're telling me a stock 99 GT is faster than a 4V 96-98 Cobra?

Pass that **** over....must be the presidential ****.

In my experiences.. and I've had several.. simply put: Yes. At best it's a driver's race.. but I never lost to one.

YEA IT JUST REALLY DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU LIVE...

Here in Hawaii (wich is 90% asian or island pacifcer) only about 10% (thanks to the miltary) of the Oahu Hawaii residents are black white or hispanic decent....

You will see WAYYYYYY more imports here than domestics...

In the 10 mile trip I just took to pick up my daughter from school...I saw 3 different 350Z's..

As far as people saying that the 350Z is rare or that you hardly ever see them in there areas....

It's got nonthing to do with them being more rare or anything else like that...People in your area just dont share your taste and arent buying them...

IT'S A 30,000 DOLLAR CAR.....AS FAR AS SPORTS CAR PRICED GO IT'S AN ENTRY LEVEL SPORTS CAR THAT JUST SO HAPPENS TO HAVE 2004 BOXSTER S PERFORMANCE AND LOOKS.

To the guy with the mustang.....I FIND IT EXTREMLY HARD TO BELEAVE THAT YOU WILL SEE 2-4 TIMES MORE 350Z'S THAN MUSTANGS...

Your seriously smoking crack dude...(joking)

Even here in Hawaii were imports truly rule....You'll still see 10 different stangs on any 10 mile trip....

The mustang is probaly one of the cheapest V8 cars you can buy in the world...

How many different version of stangs are there....

base v6
base v8 GT
mach1
boss
Cobra
Cobra R
Roush
Saleen
Thats not even counting convertables

I mean seriously...Couldnt you order any of these cars between 99 and 2004???

They sell so many mustangs that they could simply change the side mirrors on the GT give it 5 more HP and call it the mustang GT1 and people would still buy thousands of them.

I personaly could never own a mustang...Even though I think the 99 is a BEAUTIFUL desighn...

There just so played out...

The cobra is quick running 12.8-13.2 at 109-111 mph...

But when you actually think about it it's pretty slow....A supercharged V8 that only runs 12.8 at 111?????

Thats just sad...

A all engine Corvette is only 2 tenths slower.....

I think if the 350Z ever gets it's act together and puts the twin turbos as a factory option.....

It's blown V6 will probaly put out better numbers than the Fords blown V8....

350Z>GT stang
