Personally, race gas to me doesn't matter, but my opinion isn't the authority - it's the general consensus that matters. And as far as my "fluids" comment goes, just ignore it. I don't know what I was thinking.![d'oh](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/doh.gif)

My times were run stock, I'm not stock now, but I also haven't been to the track in months

The wheels bumped me out of stock, the clutch/flywheel definitely did. Once I get the feel for the clutch off the line I think I can drop some more. My goal is 12's in the form I drive it daily (meaning street tires and no nitrous). Next step might be gears

What's the difference between the two? They're referencing the same thing with different titles, if I'm not mistaken. If it's not the Nissan OEM filter, it's aftermarket, yes?
BTW, I hope to see some HR Zs reach 12s this upcoming fall and winter time bone stock or with very little mods. I thought you were stock because your sig said "*stock*."

Oil filter = Engine oil filter
Air filter != oil filter
That time was run bone stock, spare tire in, stock tires on the car (at wear bars actually), 6 gallons of gas (or so) and the factory clutch and slave. I have since then gotten my wheels, tires, slave cylinder, clutch/flywheel, and removed the spare and some other small things from the trunk to make more room for luggage and random crap.

a. You are not competitive in the bolt-on class.
b. You do not have any of the common bolt-on mods: intake, plenum spacer, exhaust.

Well either way it would be awsome to make the list but if i went aginst the rules then i went aginst the rules. It really dosen't matter to me if i am on the list or not b/c i know what i ran and i know that it is a great time. And i am not sure how the oil filter itself can affect time but i am sure it is not a nissan parts. By the way the AIR FILTER is the original one from when the car was new back in 2004.

I finally made it out to Pacific Raceways last night for my first drag experience. My Z is an 04 automatic Roadster and I was running (or maybe jogging) in manual mode. Will post slips as soon as I can scan or photo them.
1st pass was 15.299 @ 89.3 with an RT of .752
2nd pass was 15.105 @ 89.6 with an RT of .586
3rd pass was 15.371 @ 87.05 with an RT of .131
These times seem slower than expected?

Your reaction time has no bearing on your final time (E.T.) or your trap speed.
Your car is not even trapping 90mph, which means that something is wrong with your car, something's heavily weighing you down, or your track is a mile above sea level (it's only 280', btw). You might want to check this one out. If I'm not mistaken, the roadsters are running around low-mid 14s with trap speeds close to a 100.
Because your car traps so low, your time isn't too terrible, but there's still room for improvement. Good try for your first time out, though. Hope you had fun.![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, your timeslips are impossible to read. Do you have a higher resolution version?

It was definetly worth doing. Some guys in my regional forum have theorized that my 20" wheels, Touring trim level w/ nav, convertible, and lack of tune since adding the bolt-ons are holding me back, in addition to my driving

I hope that nothing is permanently screwed up other than an out of balance AF ratio. I'll try to get better pics....soon!
