Has anyone noticed ...
I don't know if this idea has been talked about ... but has anyone noticed that a car's quarter mile time is usually, more or less, around 8 seconds more than the car's 0-60?
Example:
C6 ZO6, 3.5. 11.5
BMW M5: 4.5, 12.5
350z: 5.5ish, 13.8ish
Buggatti Veyron: Mid to low 2's, Mid to low 10's.
Has anyone else notice this relation?

I never thought about it but it makes a good rough estimate I suppose.

Interesting but how do I measure 0-60 MPH time for my car?

Cipher has a 0-60 choice in the logging.

There are online estimates you can type in your 1/4 time with 60ft and vehicle weight that give you pretty accurate guesses. Mine on my 11.98 @ 114mph pass is 3.5 seconds

Oh yeah, that's right ... forgot about that. I don't think the Bugatti would go anywhere if it wasn't AWD considering it has so much power ...

Yeah it would, save way the RWD C6 Z06 goes 0-60 in under 4seconds on street tires--->Gearing, they can both hit over 60mph in 1st.
