Mad respect for powerful 6 speed cars. Id take a 10 second 6 speed over a 9.0 auto car anyday, that is boring and requires much less skill...Better luck next time guys!!!
Thanks Alberto and everyone else. I'm a 6spd guy through and through
It would have been nice to get a little further down the track, it unfortunately just looked like you stalled the car off the launch lol. GL in the future.

LOL, yeah, thankfully the track was empty due to the cold We've suprised everyone on that passes we've actually made, but we went for the gusto this time and well... thank ya though for the GL wishes, I'll take them
good news, well breaking stuff is never really good news lol. we broke the diff and not the trans. I had the motivation to pull it off the trailer this morning to look at it, and well trans seems ok, but the diff, not so good
I have another diff going in and we'll be back at the track this week Maybe launching a bit lower on the 2step.
Coach, we launched at about 5700rpm on the above vid.
Chris
That's good that the trans held up for now.. Good luck this weekend!
Interesting that you broke the diff as Nissan diffs are generally considered to be inordinately strong. I was really hoping it would be the engagement tooth ring on 5th gear because there is an off the shelf stronger part available (not of course wishing you a more difficult or expensive repair).
thats sweet, but sucks at the same time. Crazy that the dif went out as Neal said, thats wat most S2K drivers run. Can't wait to see it finally hook and roll.

We found out the axle hub popped a c-clip off on the launch, and pulled the hub out of the diff just enough to not be in contact with the splines. We were happy to find out this is all that happened.
Here is a pic of how it sheared the small amount of splines it was turning on lol
