Default ?How do I know if my 5at has VLSD

I have a 5at pumpkin that I took out of my touring 03 5at. How do i determine if it has VLSD? Thanks for the help.

all models besides the base have the VSLD stock.

spin one side of the axle stub while holding the other side,if they both spin the same direction then its lsd.

The coolest way is go burnout and tell your friend to look at your tires. If both your tires are smokin' you got lsd, if one is smokin' you obviously dont.

Base does not come in auto, so it has to have VLSD!

That doesn't always work...in a equal traction situation with an open diff car both will spin.

I've done two wheel burnouts in many different open diff vehicles.

go out in a parking lot turn the wheels and do a dougnut. if there are two tires tracks you're good to go. dont hit a light pole...

I believe this is still correct as all 5AT equipped cars at one point shipped with the VLSD and I would imagine this is still the case today with the newer model years.

all 5AT final drives on the 350z have the VLSD...

the 5AT VLSD will NOT bolt up to 3.5/3.9 Ring and pinion gear sets...
