Default bent valves, and damaged sprocket...somthing. replacement options

ok so my engine attempted suicied and failed. it was all stock, and depressed.

bent both intake and exhaust valves. pistons are fine. i also damaged some sprocket, and the cause of all this was pulley key failure.

basicaly i need some thoughts on new high preformance valves, will be working in conjuction nismo cam's, all the the stock head. head will have port matched nismo R headers on it as well as a new plenum. i will aso need a new gasket kit, dont know if after market is better here, but if you know somthing let it flow.

the sprocket that is damaged had somethihng to do with the timeing chain for the valve train. part# (113021-AL510) if you know of a better replacment for this part than the stock one you will be highly admired for your superior knowlage, but not for your ablities to correct my spelling...I know its bad.

any help would be great thanks a bundle in advance.

I have also been looking at the Nismo Ti valve kit but it says it's only for Nismo 46cc heads. Maybe Z1 can chip in here.

the NISMO Ti valves won't work with a stock head - you'll need the NISMO heads for them to work....very very very expensive (in the "if you have to ask" category)

if you want, we have a set of the 1mm oversized sets in stock; stock diameter we would need to order but usually only takes about a week to 10 days to get give or take. The springs used (duals) will handle any cam on the market, as well as a custom grind with some pretty crazy lift. On an NA setup with stock compression, there really is no benefit to running larger than stock - on a forced induction setup, there are benefits, but only when you start getting into the upper echelons of VQ power (600whp +).

You can read about them here: http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ne&prodid=1718

Ok you sort of lost me here. What product exactly are you talking about? Supertech dual valvesprings and with what is there no benefit running larger? What valves?

ok so i am on going with the nismo spec 1 cam for sure.
can i use the super tech valves with stock springs retaners and so on....if i were to go with the hole kit (springs retainers and so on) would it increase power? or would the extra seat preasure just be too much for my set up to make use of it all?

and could some one in the know figure out if the NISMO VTC gears for the VQ35DE are the nismo replace ment for stock part number "113021-AL510"

awsome info guys , and once again thanks

oh and what header do you guys think is the best bang for the buck?

yes we have the Supertech setup in stock with 1mm oversized valves

Spec 1 cams need the valvesprings for sure - springs in and of themselves won't make power - instead they keep the valve on track to avoid floating at high rpms, which is where those cams shine. The ability to rev is what makes the power with those cams - the ti retainers and so on will make for a lighter valvetrain, which means it is more efficient and a bit more "lively" and willing to rev.

Header wise, a long tube is best IMHO, but they are few and far between - with the short tube headers, it all depends how much you have to spend.

If your engine is stock, why isn't your dealer fixing this under warranty? Failure of the crankshaft key is clearly a defect. Are you still within the warranty period?

ya im under warrenty but just barly. im still tring to fix the paper trail for the dealer so i can put the money for the stock ones towards the aftermarket ones and i then pay the differance,.....wonder if they could buy them then sell them some how to some other dealer that needs them or somthing like that.

oh well they have to buy the parts, then i need to sell them and get the money for after market ones... any one know of any company person ...thing.
that wants to buy some brand new stock valves.

maybe i could take them to anther dealer and have them return them for me... some how doing this with out proof i ever bought them so. :/

and as for headers what about DC.??
