Doesn't AEBS have a 4.3 liter kit as well?

Does anyone have the AEBS kit with N/A mods? This is a very interesting thread, i'm glad people are venturing out into dark VQ territory

Yes AEBS does have a 4.3 liter stroker kit with a 101.5mm bore size, 90mm stroke and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. I don't think anyone on this board has the high compression AEBS kit.

So you're gonna run 12.6:1 compression ratio on pump gas?

A guy on motoring from Texas said he had the AEBS last year and no one could get it to run right. AEBS had his car for 9 months! He was a test vehicle for them and put down 350whp when the car was running. Otherwise his username hasnt signed on in a year lol.

he tuned it on 93 octane and had no problem he said. he told me that it should run fine on 93 becasue the motor itself breaths very well with all the headwork and intake work.

I bet it's at the crank.
Modified M. tends to state "whp" at the end of HP figures so the lack of it would only suggest it's at the crank.

Those Top Secret cars are always a "work in progress" so who knows what it's doing now.

With that said, I would love to hear our VQ's at close to 9k rpm.

I bet if you had ITB's and a great exhaust system you would be very close to 380-390whp.

ITB's, longer stroke and higher compression on race gas and 400whp is yours bro!

Would you spend at least $6000 for maybe 30 horses?

Can't you get a map switch for the utec? I would make a map with 110 octane and see how much power you gain over 93.

Why is there need to bring costs into this thread? Who cares who is willing to spend what. That's not the issue of topic here.

With higher octane, free flow exhaust, and add timing you should be able to add MUCH more power.

hey J, i might have missed it but what kind octane are you running in there? 12.6 to 1 is about where i used to run my honda but i had to put A LOT of 100 or octane booster.

any issues with the high CR..

My buddies honda runs 13:1 how come you have problems (on pump gas). Oh just noticed, you're in FL. It usually never goes past 85ish here w/; low humidity. This summer is an expeption hitting 95+ for a week straight.

edt:Srry he ran 12.1:1.

93 octane, no issues with detonation...def power to be had with race fuel later.

Thats insane 350rwhp. Im sure theres more in it. If hhondas can hit 230 rwhp out of a 1.8 liter engine, 400rwhp is possible out of the 3.5liter. Im surprised it required titanium rods though. Everything else seems feasiable.
Crawford headers + X pipe would add nice power too.

It's all about how much timing you try run - the utec at least lets you run multiple maps, etc for whatever octane you want to run

The final compression is honestly of little significance on pump gas. I doubt you would ever see a vast difference in power between an 11:1 12:1 or even 12.5:1 setup. On race gas though, is where the high compression is going to truly shine

Looking forward to the sheets for sure...the car sounds fun!
