350Z Quick Shifter is done - OH YA !!!
Thank you, but the machinist praises should go to my friend “Droopy”, he did most of the machining. But I did all of the polishing
All of the work is done on a CNC.
Thanks anyway….

I gotta agree with the others' comments!!! Great looking pics on the website, too. I'm also thinking about this one as my next mod but want to hear some feedback from those who just installed it. Dweeb-why is the Ti version coated with the titanium nitride? Anything like that needed on the SS version. Thanks and I'm sure we'll be in contact soon.
p.s. when's the next production date slated for?

Ti is a light and very strong metal, unfortunately it scratches very easily, and the ball “pivot” sits in the plastic socket. (Who would think that plastic would scratch an Titanium or an alloy??) Even after we polished the ball, being in the car for few months it actually scratches the Titanium, thus giving it a rough surface, that in turn gives it a bit more friction (making it a bit harder to shift). The coating makes it much harder and smoother.
There is no need for it on the SS version as the SS is hard enough.
The next production is slated for sometime early in May, but first I would like to hear from the current customers, and get their impressions, comments and suggestions on the Q-Shifter.
I will post it on the website and in the forums....

Well, i haven't put my shifter in yet (nissan is looking at my tranny on monday for the grind problem), but what about using some grease on the pivot to keep the scratches down? That is what i used to do on my other shifters and never had a problem... Just a suggestion.
I just installed my SS Quick-Shifter today. Thanks Dweeb for such a great write up on the installation....it was very easy.
I love the new feel and short throw. This was a great mod for me. I also had the Z dyno'ed today for the Injen CAI and Jeff who was doing the dyno was impressed with the shifter also.
