i hear a sound from shifting from first gear to second.. like click.. is it normal?? the dealer says its normal in all z's.. please help me out..

the other thing.. is when i am in first gear and driving.. after depressing the clutch i hear a noise.. like wong wong.. but never comes in any other gear.. is it normal.to..???

i bought it new.. so please let me know..?

Mine NEVER did/does anything like that! Tell them you want to drive another 350 to compare it, fix it, trade it. Did it not make that sound when you test drove it? Most noise is never a good thing.

 

what year car is yours? I have an 05 touring 6spd and it does the exact same thing. Please let me know if you find any information about it. Thanks

yeah i'm still not quite used to it, but it seems normal. I guess that's what it takes to handle so many ponies.
I used to compare Z to 4dr sedans in terms of noise level and others, but I realized that Z should be compared to beasts rather than cute rabbits.... lol

 

Most noisy, clunky, notchy transmission ever!!! I'm on my second 009 tranny and they all have been noisy as hell and notchy!! Especially when it's cold.
