thanks for the info
cant wait to try it tomorrow

ill probably have to go with a switch. cause im too lazy for pulling it out everytime i need to get a good burnout.

Yeah it gets real old fast. It should be the third row down and its hard to get too for me, I can't wait to get my switch done.

i just ran my car without the fuse today. i have to admit i had some really really nice burns going.
i didnt get the chance to run it with the fuse in, maybe i got too happy..i dont know. i only got 2 runs in because of how many cars were around, and basically my getting mugged inbetween runs by people wanting to check out the car.

quickest 60 2.15
quickest 1/4 14.15 @ 98.49
shitty track and a 97 degree day

i guess i cant complain too much, only having an intake and grounding kit.

i did see some cars running 8's....very nice.
oh and there was this one kid with his dads vette. in the middle of his run, his top comes flying off and lands right side up. not a scratch on it. what a sight.

no way! I bet people freaked!

97 is just too hot for our Z's my experience is they don't tolerate heat as well as LS1's.

In 70 degree weather with a good launch and a 99 trap you are 14.0 Great 60 '!

you should use something called a line lock it locks the front brakes/bake brakes/1 brake and so on you can probably get it @ summit racing or a local speed shop for american cars it taps in after the master cylinder to the front/rear brakes or which ever one you want use to have it on my malibu for track night so you dont burn up your bake brakes. wheels are free to spin back brakes not engaged while doing a burnout...... it uses a solenoid with a switch similar to your nitrous setup just two wires and some plumbing.

Yeah ask them what brand, direct port etc, what plugs, wqhat fuel injectors, how they keep their a/f and spark correct at that high of a jetting etc. Inquiring minds want to know and maybe a time slip would help.

FIrst they said 300 shot then 235, I am not convinced a stock fuel pump and injectors/plugs would handle that so tell them to share more data as proof. I share, they share too!

Thanks

ajk4 or skidazzle do you lose your brake lights when you hook up the switch like you have described? Is this the same for a 6 speed?

yes, the brake lights dont work when the abs is turned off, or the fuse is removed from the fuse panel.
