Sounds good. Once I see how your car turns out I may end up seeing if they can take my whipple from my LS2 and put it on there. I say this car wont be daily driven but once done that may change...lol. The main thing I'm deciding on now is what I wanna do with the car. There is still that section of town that is closed off by the cops on saturday night for racing since we have no track near us, but like another good friend with a modded MR2 said...once you embarass a few cars nobody wants to race you.

I have corresponance from both hinson and GM that there was a delay shipping the LSX....so at no fault of hinson has there been a slight delay....

Hinson will sell the kit necessary to do the swap just as he does with the other cars he has sucessfully swapped...

So what did you decide with the widebody? I'd say just pull the fenders and run a 'sleeper' look.

 

fenders are rolled and I am shooting for the widest wheel possible....I will address traction once I have her back....

 

i read a thread a while back when a guy literally extended his fenders/wheel well. It look f'ing nice! I suggest you doing that.

 

You can fit 11 inch wheels in the back with them rolled iirc? if you need wider you dont so much need a widebodykit but just the rear fenders if you wanna keep the sleeper look.

 

i am looking into suspension and tire compound before addressing buying wider hweels or more body work....

Good idea. Wider isnt always the key, I'v seen plenty of high hp cars that are running 10-11 inch wheels and keep them planted. Yea the avater had to come back, I got alot of requests..LOL.
