Default oil pressure

ive been looking around and found no answer to my ?....


is my oil pressure normal..

its like at 25-30 at idle and like 50 -60 at normal acceleration....


im asking this because i cant rememeber what it was.... i havnt driven the z in like a month and i forgot....

Mine is the same exact numbers...30 at idle 60 -65 wot

Before my tranny was replaced it used to sit at 60, when floored it used to go up to 120! , but not it just goes from 65-70MAX! , I don't know why

well at WOT it hits like 90-100 .... but my concern was at idle.... it looked too low to me...

I'm in canada, we use the metric system instead of psi.

I think I'm a bit low too... reading less than 1/4 of the gauge...

it will be high when you first start the car. after driving for a good 5-10 minutes it should be within normal psi levels.


A simple test is this once you are warmed up and been driving:

At 70 MPH, you should be at 2500 RPMs and 60 psi.

20-25 is normal when warmed up and idling

and rockin is right about the 70mph
