Hey Adam, on your site it says the install kit 2 are for specific build dates. Where does one go about finding the build date of his z? Thanks.

for people with these gears installed, does it affect the speedo readings? and if so how do you fix it?

speedo stays the same, but in 4th gear instead of tacking out at 120 mph you'll be hittin 100 now lol...MUCHO shorter gearing becomes more and more apparent the faster you go.

good reading. Can one install these gears AND a lightened flywheel or does that make daily driving a nightmare?

Thanks

many of our customers have done the final drive and flywheel together - they compliment each other well

It's good to hear that it is not necessary to pick between the two. I guess I was just worried that the combination of the two would make redline come so quick that 2nd and/or 1st would be a waste. Thanks Adam!

it wouldnt be a waste because the mph will only be down about 6 or so mph depending on which gear your in. As long as you have good traction it wont waste anything at all.

Would this be a bad idea for a mod, if I drive mainly just on roads? Dont do any tracking (yet) but would still like to get the best performance out, I just dont want to sacrifice and get a shitty DD.

its an ideal first mod - the car is SIGNIFICANTLY quicker in day to day use, and much more enjoyable

^ I was curious about the same thing. My 240 final drive was 4.083, but the reason that wont work is because the pinion size is different. Nice try though...
